Water
Fuel
Water fuel sounds like a silly concept born in science fiction.
Well, the way some people sell it, water fuel is science fiction.
But, here are the fact on water fuel. Water can be used as a supplementary
fuel inside cars, trucks and other vehicles. Water is not the main
fuel or the only fuel, however.
Water has the unique property of being made up of hydrogen and
oxygen. When hydrogen and oxygen combine to form a liquid is it
non-flammable water (H2O). However, when the water bond is split
or broken apart, each gas, hydrogen and oxygen are both very flammable.
This means that once water is split via electrolysis, a very simple
procedure, the resulting HHO gas can be ported into the car's intake
system and burned in its cylinders. The hydrogen and oxygen burn
very cleanly and product only a little water as a byproduct.
For those who think this will negatively impact global warming
since water is a greenhouse gas, it won't. There is actually more
water inside of gasoline than will be burned in the water fuel system
of a car.
Now, other websites will try to sell you on the fantasy of running
an entire car on water. But, this defies the science. What science
does know if that water fuel is currently being used in welding
torches and in thousands of cars on the road.
When used in welding torches (or water torches as they are called),
water is electrolyzed into HHO gas and this is the primary source
of energy. When water fuel is used inside of a car, it supplements
the fossil fuels, but is only a secondary form of energy.
So, don't be fooled by other water fuel claims. Also, don't be
fooled by the critics claims that this can't be done. It's already
proven. It's already being done. And, it's starting to be done on
a large scale.
