Hydrogen
Boosters
Hydrogen boosters is the name given to hydrogen generators for
cars and trucks that electrolyze water and inject the resulting
HHO fuel into the vehicle's intake system.
For many years now several legitimate systems have been called hydrogen
boosters or hydrogen boosting technology for lack of a better name.
Since this is an emerging industry, the names of these devices
is still up for grabs, but the function is the same and their ability
to lower emissions and increase gas mileage is proven. There are
several guys at the Yahoo Water Car Group who have developed their
own hydrogen boosters.
Some are for sale and some not. At least one has been put out as
an Open Source device that anyone with a moderate amount of mechanical
ability can build. This unit is called the Smack's Booster.
Bob Boyce also has a booster and participates in several hydrogen
booster forums and there are people making replicas of his design.
It must be noted however that not all hydrogen boosters are created
equal.
Some include safety features such as to prevent flashback where
others don't. Some will try to remove the moisture from the HHO
fuel before it goes into a car's cylinders and some don't. In general,
the higher priced hydrogen boosters, have more features than the
lower cost units. The higher cost unit may also utilize a car's
onboard computer to optimize the flow of HHO fuel into the gas mix.
But, now matter whether you choose a DIY ebook or a complete kit,
many people are now turning to hydrogen boosters to boost their
gas mileage and decrease emissions for a cleaner and greener planet.
